I read mixed reviews of this product, but I took a chance and bought it. I was desperate to help my 16-year-old dog get back on his feet. He had recently developed weakness in the hind legs, which was compounded by vestibular syndrome.
The bottoms-up leash allows me to help him with his balance and we can now walk several blocks with ease.
My dog is medium size, 35 pounds.
Previously, i tried using a towel to help with his balance, but that was a disaster. I also bought another product which didn't fit properly and interfered with his ability to relieve himself. The bottoms up leash, for me, is worth its weight in gold.
